HRC 101 – What you know and don’t know about HRC

The Human Rights Campaign Las Vegas is conducting their first 2010 HRC 101 event on Sunday March 21st at The Center at 2:00pm.

While many of us know the Human Rights Campaign, with over 750,000 members, is the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization; a number of us may know that HRC Las Vegas holds the local annual “Dinner Gala” in August, which is their largest fund raising event for the year; some of us may know about the HRC Family Event, such as a Picnic or BBQ, immediately following the AIDS Walk; and we also know HRC hands out the cool “equal sign” bumper sticker at many events, including Pride. Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and
transgender civil rights organization, will hold a free life and estate planning seminar on January 19, 2010,
in Las Vegas. The seminar is part of a national effort to help protect
LGBT relationships and educate individuals on various estate and
financial planning issues including drafting of wills, durable power of
attorney for health care and finances, domestic partnership, and the
Pension Protection Act. Local financial and estate planning
