    2009 HRC Family Picnic

On Sunday April 19th, HRC Nevada held its second annual Family ReUNION Picnic, immediately following the AFAN AIDS Walk. The event was attended by more than 600 people, who took part in the many family activities offered, including games, a circus play area and face painting, while great prizes were raffled off. The fun-filled day served as perfect setting to salute the great work of the Clark County Family Services Department (CCDSF) who received the HRC Nevada Government Leadership Award. The Picnic was a huge success, in large part thanks to the support of its many sponsors, our community partners, the many volunteers who contributed their time and their resources, and the many who very generously pitched in, the day of the event, with voluntary monetary contributions.
