Equality Days at the Nevada Legislature

The Stand OUT for Equality campaign along with The Human Rights Campaign would like to introduce you to a groundbreaking LGBT event. “Equality Days”, the first-ever lobbying effort of its kind in Nevada, is taking place April 21-22, 2009, which will commence with a networking reception at the Governor’s Mansion.  The following day will be a chance for participants to educate and engage their elected officials regarding LGBT issues.

Inspired by local grassroots efforts, Stand OUT for Equality
understands that now is the time to ensure that our issues are both
recognized and represented by elected officials. It’s your opportunity
to meet with lawmakers in Carson City and influence your tomorrows by
participating in the process of creating change on the LGBT issues that
are important to you.
