  Candidates who see you working for them will know that they need to work for you; just head over to the campaign office of a candidate you support. Whether you have a day, an afternoon, or an hour, it will make all the difference in the world. Don't forget to wear your HRC gear so they know their LGBT consitiuents are behind them.

Whether it was the heartfelt and motivating words of Joe Solmonese or the amazing musical talents of Thelma Houston that energized the attendees at the 3rd Annual Las Vegas HRC Gala Dinner, everyone in attendance will tell you that that night will not be easily forgotten.

Almost six hundred members of the Las Vegas community along with representatives of other communities across the country gathered together at Mandalay Bay on Saturday, September 6th to celebrate the accomplishments of the LGBT community as well as to remind everyone about the upcoming challenges that lie ahead. Although HRC is an organization based in Washington, D.C., the impact the Human Rights Campaign has on communities throughout the nation is incredible.  Our local steering committee and members have been increasing in both numbers and presence, and have been organizing amazing events for the Las Vegas community. Summer months in Vegas can be dreadful, but triple digit temperatures among other factors will not stop the steering committee, members, and volunteers from working hard and having fun.  In the past two months HRC has held a family picnic, a weekend long political training, monthly socials, and have been working relentlessly to organize another amazing gala dinner.
